The 31st Congress of the International Geographical Union
The Chair of the 2008 Tunisian IGU Congress Organising Committee has invited geographers to participate in the 31st International Geographical Congress. The President of the Republic of Tunisia, His Excellency Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, is the Patron of the Congress, Professor Adnane Hayder chairs the Organising Committee and Professor Ali Toumi is the Secretary General. Tunis is the host city, and Le Kram Congress and Exhibition Centre is the venue. The substantive details of the Congress are now available at the website http://www.igc-tunis2008.com/
